I had forgotten I even had a blog until an important business card decision forced me to look at my social media presence. Since 8th grade I have asked everyone who doesn't already call me Catherine to just call me "Erin" and it never seemed a big enough deal to make it facebook official. People who knew me, knew I had this weird (super cool hidden) nickname Cath[erin]e and they went with it. But business cards. On all official work forms and school transcripts it is the full 4 unit name my parent's gave me, but all my supervisors called me Erin. It occurred to me that people who might potentially check out my past work experience would meet some confusion. So I've decided to bracket my business cards, cut the full name from facebook, and tidy up my google plus and linked in profiles.
But this blog isn't about all that fancy professional stuff so c-salty can stay. I am excited to share some pictures of my recent creations ( mostly knit), my recent travels, (Zurich, Genovia, and Paris), and my recent pop-culture addictions. Yes Galavant and Outlander are amazing and yes I have watched Outlander multiple times for, um, knitting pattern inspiration. NOT because Jamie is super attractive. Nope. All about the knitting. I hope to post here about once a school quarter at least, and more frequently after I'm flashing my degree in everyone's face and en route to employment.
