Anyways I'd pack up my things, fly for a long, long, time and arrive in a Luxury Goods Store! I mean, A Department Store!, I mean, a Grocery/ Cafe/ Florist/ Chocolatier? Yeah all those and more in your friendly, super tidy underground train station. Zurich knows how to make travel and shopping as convenient as I've ever seen, and I'm lazy so I'm real familiar with convenience.
Then I'd arrive in Zack's amazing, out of a movie, "apartment" where his housemates spoke better English than I did, an adorable shibu inu did laps around the robot oven/ projection movie system/ multitude of Ikea (Aye- Kay- yuh) furniture (which I helped assemble a bit) and the guest/ computer gaming room/ office. There were magic curtains guys. Zack and I would get groceries from a store at the train station or from a mall a few blocks away, including delicious fresh bread, delicious affordable cheese, and way too much chocolate. After that Zack would take me up a hill for a faux alpine hike, I'd drag him to a museum, and we'd both count clocktowers and stare at the gears. Once in a while we'd happen upon an organ concert in a church, eat super Swiss deep dish pizza, or eat fancy tapas and acquire, forget, and retrieve a stuffed hedgehog.
We also went on day trips, so some of these photos aren't strictly Zurich, but include Basel, Luzerne, and Genovia (Geneva).
If you are interested in more photos, I have them on google drive- I can share you a link if you contact me. But here's just a few highlights:
